ASSESSMENT

At the end of the exercise you need to present a printed copy of your work.

Your presentation should include:

1) A bar graph and a population pyramid for both India and the UK, together with a short written description and explanation of each graph. (Use the answers from the quiz to help you)

2) A bar graph to show how the world's population is changing, also with a short description.

3) Write a short paragraph to explain why the world's population is growing so quickly. (Is population growing fastest in rich or poor countries?)

3) For extra credit you will also try to answer the following question, by adding an extra paragraph to your finished work:

"Why is it important to study population?"
