We
stayed in Castleton Youth hostel. We arrived at the youth hostel on Friday evening, after a walk by the river, getting our tootsies cold. Castleton was a classic English village; cold, rainy, with a tourist shop and 3 pubs, all in the space of 100 square metres! Arriving at the warm youth hostel was certainly welcome, it having lots of other schools there, including
the Neela Dolezal fan club
A
sixth form college from London was also there and a primary school for Mr Jenkins and Mr Bown to scare daily,
making the evenings full of fun and adventure. Suprisingly the food was good, and the drink even better (orange juice that is),and there were many games to be played in the games room, quiet room and t.v room. A lovely stay in a lovely place; one fault: no towels when you needed them, I suppose sheets had to do...... |
