this Geography life...our latest idea!

This is a new project exploring the relationships between Geography and life outside school.

Basically, any kind of sport or passtime will have a geographical angle to it. Once you start to explore these geographical relationships, it becomes possible to think of good ideas for coursework projects!

Anybody can contribute. How does Geography affect your life? Anybody fancy Geography and skateboarding? Please e mail me with suggestions and photographs.

Geography and art

The second section is about art. There are lots of ways in which the study of public art can be turned into a good project.

Although these pictures are from a recent trip to Liverpool, London has lots of public art and sculpture. Have you been to the Tate Modern yet? It's the most amazing building which together with the Millenium bridge is helping to regenerate the local area.
